Occupational Therapy

About Molly Walz, OTD, OTR/L, CHT

Education/Background: I graduated from Creighton University with my Doctorate of Occupational Therapy in 2021. I started working in hand therapy shortly after graduation and obtained my Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credentials in 2024. My treatments generally focus on manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, and custom orthotics for the upper extremity.

Philosophy of Care: Focus on improving patient's participation in meaningful occupations to improve health and well-being.

Why I became an Occupational Therapist: When I was in high school, my grandfather suffered his first mini stroke. During his recovery, I learned about OT. I loved how many different settings OTs work in and all have the same goal with their patients: help patients participate in their meaningful occupations.
